Artist

Andrei Korobeinikov, one of the leading pianists of his generation, graduated from the Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory before pursuing postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Music in London. He has appeared as a soloist with many of the world’s leading orchestras, such as the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Munich Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo NHK Symphony Orchestra, St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre National de France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. He has collaborated extensively with many of today’s most distinguished conductors, including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Iván Fischer, Lawrence Foster, Mikhail Pletnev, and Yuri Temirkanov. He has performed in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Tonhalle Zürich, and Wigmore Hall in London, among others. Korobeinikov’s discography reflects both the breadth of his repertoire and the exceptional quality of his interpretations. His recordings have received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Diapason d’Or de l’année. He has won more than twenty international competition prizes, notable among them the First Prize at the Alexander Scriabin International Piano Competition in Moscow in 2004.
