Artist
Andrija Jovović, piano, completed his primary and secondary music education in Podgorica under Professor Lidija Skender. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed across the Western Balkans region, in numerous countries of wider Europe, and in the United States. In Vienna, he has given concerts in esteemed venues including the Altes Rathaus, the Gesellschaft für Musiktheater, Palais Eschenbach, and the Vivaldi Saal. In Montenegro, his appearances at festivals such as KotorArt and the Days of Music in Herceg Novi, as well as in the halls of the Ministry of Culture in Cetinje and the Budo Tomović Cultural and Information Center in Podgorica, are particularly noteworthy. As part of a KotorArt project, he also performed in Santa Barbara, California. Andrija Jovović is a multiple recipient of first and special prizes at national competitions, as well as numerous first prizes at international competitions. He has further developed his artistic skills through masterclasses and seminars with distinguished pianists and pedagogues. He was a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and continued his training at the Coimbra World Piano Meetings in Portugal. Andrija Jovović is a recipient of the Miloš Karadaglić Foundation Scholarship for 2026. He is currently pursuing master’s studies in Piano at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, under Professor Natalia Trull, as well as in the Neue Musik – Ensemble Master’s program.
