Kirill Troussov

Kirill Troussov, one of the leading violinists of his generation, is recognized for his exceptional musical sensitivity. He is the recipient of numerous international awards, including the Pro Europa, Davidoff, and Yamaha prizes. He has recorded for major record labels, and his series Kirill Troussov Live has reached millions of streams worldwide.

He is the founder and Artistic Director of the Sarasate Academy in Madrid and the Engers Academy in Germany, Artistic Director of several international festivals, as well as President and Artistic Director of the Hong Kong International Young Musicians Competition. Since 2025, he has served as Professor of Violin at the University of Music and Theatre Munich. He performs on the 1702 “Brodsky” Antonio Stradivari violin.

He regularly gives masterclasses at renowned institutions worldwide, including the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, the Colburn School in Los Angeles, the Central Conservatory in Beijing and Nanjing, the European Music Institute in Vienna, as well as in Cremona, Milan, Madrid, Dublin, Berlin, Munich, Oslo, Budapest, the United States, Hong Kong, and Japan.

Both active and passive participation in the course are available. Active participation includes an individual lesson based on the submitted repertoire, while passive participation allows attendance at all scheduled classes.

In the event of a large number of applications, the professor will select participants based on the submitted materials. If the number of applications is insufficient, the masterclass will be cancelled.
